Download YouTube Videos to MP4
Often downloading YouTube videos to any format be it in MP4, 3GP or FLV can be tricky involving downloading and installing numerous software on your PC. However, I'll give you a tutorial to help you use a web based service that will allow you to download YouTube videos to MP4 in a matter of seconds without installing any dodgy or funky programs on your PC.
First, head over to YouTube.com and locate the video you wish to convert to MP4 format. Go to the video's page (make sure you're not on a channel page) and navigate to below the description box just above the embed code to find the YouTube video URL. Copy this by highlighting it either right clicking and selecting "Copy" or pressing "Ctrl + V" on the keyboard.
Now, head over to TubeBubble.com a web service for downloading and converting YouTube videos to several different formats. Delete the text that's currently in the main white box and paste the YouTube URL you copied from the video page into it. Next select the file format MP4 from the drop-down list and click "Download".
You will be taken to a second page with another "Download" button which this time you will right click and select "Save Link as..". Save your video file where ever you want on your system for playback or for downloading to an external device like a PSP or an iPod.
To playback MP4 files on your PC I'd recommend some free software like Apple Quicktime 7 which is available for download from the Apple website or by Googling the term "Apple Quicktime".
